Ciao signora,

Thank you for recommendation, I'll take a look later.

So you liked Hemon...nice. That was his first novel. If you have chance read "The Question of Bruno" as well.

Btw, have you seen "No Country for Old Men". You haven't ? It is a must...

Cheers

I haven't seen that film yet, but I'll do.

I'm reading now jergovic and I discovered that I'd already read the karivan by him. furthermore, I have two copies of this book home. because, I had one for me and then I gave a copy to my boyfriend and we both bought all our books here.
nice, do you need a copy of the karivan half price translated into Italian? no? but it's a must...
;))

cheers

Ciao Lesha,

I prefer Jergovic to Hemon but, in general, both writers are excellent, a new, modern blood of southslavic literature whose writings is mostly based on an inner interpretation of a recent war and its consequences on the whole urban generation of Bosnian/former Yugoslavia people born in 60's and early 70's...

Try ti find Jergovic's short stories "Sarajevo's Marlboro".

Take care
