Russell Peters

Russell Peters is an Indo-Canadian, stand-up comedian. His humour is a parody, largely based on his Indian upbringing and mocking racial stereotypes. Since we live in the age of internet and Youtube he has become widely popular. He can make you laugh...
I was already posting some Rusell's video clips on my blog but this one is, in particular, per una signora...

LOL LOL LOL

btw, that gesture has many more meanings, I just list some:
1. who the fuck is this?
2. what the fuck is this?
3. what are you talking about?
4. what shall I do with this?
5. What the fuck are you looking at?
6. Are you looking at me?
7. hey what's the problem with you (in the last three cases a fight is likely to follow...)
....

anyway, nice to know the Indian guys in my neighbourhood just wanted to go and eat something and were not starting a fight....too late ;-)))

cheers

Nooo Indianoooo...nooo

So that gesture is not recommendable while you're in Italy. Hm...I'm just a tourist from Canada...

Che? Non ti sento...
Che vuoi mangiare...

non mi senti?! ALLORA SI DEVE URLAREEEEEE!

nooooooo, tourist from Canada...nooooo ;D

I've just realized that it would take very looong to explain the multiple meanings of each Italian gesture.
it depends on the context...and there are thousands of contexts.

what about your language? are there any particular gestures?

take care

Si signora...certainly we do have gestures but not as good as Italian.
Balkan version...different but still passionate. As you said, it depends on situation, context...

Take care
